I really don't see anything glaring comparing them on newegg. Sometimes with the cheaper boards once you get into the bios you find that it is a little trimmed down. Which sucks. I can't say if this is the case with these or not. I haven't paid much attention to Z77 as I just recently went from P67 to Z68.

Difference i found quickly glaring on the asus homepage was this:

Asus P8Z77-v
8+4+2 Digital Phase Power Design

4 x SATA 6Gb/s; 4 x SATA 3Gb/s ; 1 x eSATA (with incl. bracket)

6 x USB 3.0; 10 x USB 2.0

Asus P8Z77-v Pro
12+4+2 Digital Phase Power Design

4 x SATA 6Gb/s; 4 x SATA 3Gb/s

8 x USB 3.0; 10 x USB 2.0

Worth the extra ~30$? I can afford it if i need too ^^

Also here is the final build, will order in a min or so. Your thoughts? smile.gif

1344 is one of the higher boosts I have seen. Nice! Does it pass Heaven?

Not sure, Have to download that and try it out. Seeing what I can get the most out of it with 3dmark. Just made a run at 1355 and everything was good.

Looks great. Spending all that money I would spend the extra $30 and get the pro.

3dmark seems to vary a lot. I would think in gaming it would be much closer.
