Mine seems to max out at 1260. Any more than that and whatever I'm playing just seems to crash. The memory, however, doesn't seem give a damn what I do to it. I'm at +750 right now and it doesn't show any signs of stopping; there's no artifacts and the highest temperature I've hit is 69C with the fan on auto. The power limiter doesn't seem to do anything for me either. It doesn't affect my overclock at all so I just keep it at 100%.

Getting gains on mem clocking is more than just moving the slider.. gotta check for gains in benchmarks. Performance will decrease 100s of Mhz before artifacts/crashes.

It's the same way with me and BF3. In multiplayer, my cards never go over ~70% usage, so I max everything and stay around 90fps, give or take 10. But in singleplayer mode, I get 99% usage on both cards and can maintain 100fps quite steadily. The network seems to be the bottleneck for me because usage will not get any higher than 70% in muliplayer, yet singleplayer its fine.

Mine maxes out at +55 core, and +450 memory, to max out at 1270MHz.

You're right. At 750 my graphics score was 9577. I took it to 600 and my graphics score went up to 9848. I have no idea if those are bad or good scores but at least your information was accurate. I should add that I was at 1250mhz core.

why does the higher memory overclock lower the 3dmark score? isn't higher = better? as long as its stable and passes?

GDDR5 has built in ECC. Essentially, the memory will auto correct errors at the cost of performance. "higher=better" is the fail matra of modern slider based OCing.

Hey guys, i got mine in today and put together my new rig. I'm getting some really weird numbers from gpu-z and cpu-z. It's telling me that my default core clock is at 706? Im running it with a 3570k and asrock z77 pro4 mobo. Did i get a dud? or am i just missing something in my settings? help please.

The +750 memory clock actually wasn't stable. I said it was but that was in BF3; in 3DMark 11 it was creating artifacts but it still completed the run.

Are you using the latest version (0.6.2) of GPU-Z? I was using 0.6.0 and some of the information was inaccurate or failed to show.
