Cool, guess your memory is stable at that frequency then. Some other people were able to get their memory really high but it was dropping their bench scores.

Just picked up one of these cards today been running a few benchmarks..... core at 1385 is stable in 3dmark11 and metro2033 benchmark, I am going to work on the memory and see how I go. From what you other guys are getting I can go higher on the memory... going to run a few gaming tests tonight to see if she is stable. What a card thumb.gif thanks gigabyte for giving me a 670 in 680 pyjamas which only cost me $495 AUD.... wooot

Did you call while it was in-stock or were they able to do it anyway? I have my "low" card really low and dislike that it runs at a different speed still, I am interested in seeing if they'd be willing to swap it out for me as well....

Do you think Newegg would do the same? I'm thinking about exchanging mine since it's obviously not up to par.

Honestly I'm starting to dislike Newegg. They don't seem to be as good as they used to now that they've got some competition. I would have ordered through Amazon had it been in stock.

Newegg is replacement only on their gpu's. You would need to tell them it is defective. And with the low supply you would probably get a refund. Returning cards that are fine is why companies like newegg have to change their return policy.

I agree amazon does have the best but taken advantage of it won't last forever. But hey if they are willing to do it. The egg is a lot more strict as they have learned over the years.

+1

Nerdrage over another 30-40Mhz on your core OC just isnt worth it. If everyone was hitting 1300+, people would be upset that they werent getting 1400, etc. etc.
I got my GB 670 yesterday and managed to get a stable core OC finally.
+110Mhz for a final clock of 1286MHz.
Haven't stretched the memory clock too high, but have got +150MHz stable so far.

I'll post some pics and some benches later after i have finished testing and running 3DM11.

This is a fantastic card. Looks great, works great. Build quality is awesome.

It happened to be in stock. I got lucky I guess. If it wasn't in stock, the rep would have offered me a refund instead.

I finally got a chance to test my new card last night. I got a 1124 stock boost card, and was able to push the clock to 1,264 (140 offset) before the driver crashing. I have more testing to do, but it looks like my card is about average. Still, I'm very happy with the card overall. I was only planning on a modest overclock as a daily driver anyways.
Damn this card is a beast. Just had some time to test out, seems that mine is stable with +125 core and +200 mem (Core 1327 boosted). Got GPU score of 10442 from 3Dmark11 and BF3 runs butter smooth! Man i love this card, had 570 SLI before, but sold those because went to army, now army starts to be over and time to get some toys again! smile.gif
