Logitech G930

Thread Starter
I am looking into purchasing a nice headset for pc gaming. After reading up on them a bit, I came across the Logitech G930 which I can get for around $100. It seems to have great features, is wireless which is extremely nice, and overall great reviews.

Is there any reason not to buy this headset? Any other headsets in that price range which are significantly better?

Thanks for the help!

This is what I have.

This was also my first high end head set. I love it. Did a ton of research before going with it. Really liked the THX features. It is also made by creative, so I would expect the USB sound card for them to be of high quality.

All I know if that I get freaked out every time a reaper is coming down from space to attack a planet in ME3.

I am sure that there will be quite a few people on here talking about 500 to 1000 dollar head sets. The one you choose is fine.

Would getting a headphone + clip on mic be ok for you?

Thanks for the replies!

I actually tried the headphones + clip-on mic before with a pair of Audio Technica AD-700s but I think I would prefer simplicity this time. The wireless will be a nice change of pace after dealing with so many cables for so long.

I'm just trying to find a nice pair that does what I need and doesn't cost TOO much.

Thanks!

Hmm, I know AKG makes some nice cans but I haven't heard anything on their headsets. Do they even have surround sound?

I've used the G930, but recently upgraded to the wired sennheiser 360. The G930 is a great headset and the only reason I gave it up is because I didn't want a buddy of mine to have what I thought was a better headset then mine. You can see from this list of the best wireless gaming headsets that it's a pretty good choice.
