Dang. Well, the 580 and 260 folded just fine together, no ppd loss with either. Was getting 23-27k on the 580 while the 260 was getting 8-12k. Not sure if the 260 and the 9800 have the same core though.

And that was with gpu trackerv2. if that helps any.

Well, I figured if hes just trying to set something up for the cc, it would not make a huge difference if he was using gputracker or v7. HFM detects just the same, and I thought if he was running linux for his cpus, he would keep it that way and was looking to fold on windows for cc.

I've been using the individual console clients, and monitoring them with HFM.
The problem is that I only ever get A3 core CPU work units in the windows console client, so I'm switching to the v7 client for the CPU so I start picking up A4 core units.

Since I'm going to be using v7 for the CPU, I figured it would be good to switch over my GPU's to it too, but it seems v7 still doesn't play well with multiple different GPU's in the same system.

From what I've found, it can work with AMD and non-Fermi, and AMD and Fermi, but Fermi and non-Fermi just doesn't work. :P

Thanks, I tried out v7 for my CPU, but my setup seems to get horrible PPD on A4 WU's, so I went back to the console client.

I've tried a number of different things, but it seems that averaging around 20k ppd is about as good as my i7-950 @4.3 Ghz will do in windows with 2 video cards folding.

  5. Open FAHControl, and click Configure. Go to the Slots tab.
  6. For each GPU slot:
    Select a GPU you want in that slot.
    Click the slot, then click Edit.
    Set the gpu-index field to the position of the GPU in List A, starting from 0. (The first card on the list will be 0, the second will be 1, etc.)
    Set the opencl-index and cuda-index fields equal to the position of the GPU in List B, starting from 0.
  7. Click OK. Repeat for each card.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Pause in FAHControl, and wait for all slots to read "Paused".
  10. Click Quit in FAHControl.
  11. Restart FAHControl. You should now be up and running.

Wonder why its never been publicised... and why its still not actually fixed in the client.
