When I overclock i7 3770k will I need to change anything for my RAM or will setting XMP settings work just fine?

I asked a person on the forums (Darth_*something*.. sorry I forget that next part lol) and he said it's okay to just leave my memory on xmp profile.

I have 4x4gb corsair vengeance and I did not change anything with that memory when I oc'd my i5 2500k. is it the same with the i7 3770k?

also, can someone help me with changing the timings on this particular memory? thanks

Yes, is the same, overclock on these CPU's don't affect ram settings since they overclock via multi.

I can't help you with the timing regarding that particular RAM, but I do know you can leave the RAM on xmp profile when OC'ing your Ivy.
