ATI HD6580 Toxic GDDR5 1GB OC?

I have my hd6850 toxic for year now.I was just wondering am I going to gain some performance increase if I overclock it,since I have q6600 3.0 ghz,is my 6850 even botlenecking it or not?
Right now I have it on:
850
1200
75% fan speed
Idle temp is 36 and load temp so far was like 55 playing cod 4 and 60 while playing metro 2033 today
My vcore is stock.I overclocked it to 900 and 1250 without raising my vcore and having no problems but I put it on stock because I didn t want to sacrifice it for nothing.So will ocing it help in performance at all?

It helps, but not much.

3-7 FPS increase if your lucky

Difference between stock clocks CF and 1ghz core 1140mhz mem overclock CF on my 6850's is 28FPS on BF3 or 26XX points in 3DMark11.
So thats 14FPS per card more for 225Mhz higher core and 140mhz higher mem.

Thats on stock voltage as well.

wow if that s true then I will try that and see biggrin.gif,wait are u saying that 6850 can push core clock to 1000,that high?
