Most effective way to position my top fans in HAF X?

Hi,

I got an H100 cooler and 4x cougar 120mm fans for push pull.

Currently, my HAF X has:

intake:
front 200mm, 230mm
side 200mm

exhaust:
top 2x200mm
rear 140mm

Should I have air being pushed into my case from the top and then reverse the push/pull config or should I leave it the way it is currently?

Hi
In My opinion , the current config is nice but you should change the rear 140MM to intake , it will provide fresh air to the h100.

I am also asking myself that question as i will be getting a haf X , maybe you could just try the 2 configurations , would be helpful smile.gif

Hey

I switched some things in my current set up... i7 3770k ordered 1 hr ago smile.gif

but ya..

140 mm back intake
top 2x200mm exhaust
push/pull h100 with 4x cougar fans on high setting pulling in air and exhausting out top
200mm front intake
230mm front intake
200mm side intake

I saw my load temps actually dropped... after getting the h100 I was at like 56C load, and with the new set up its at like 52 lol... my internal temp went up like 2C, but CPU load temp dropped a lot.. idle went up like 1C but w/e idle temps for me are weird and one core shows up like 6C hotter than another one lol
