Thanks, guys

Ended up working 86 hours last week. So I get off this week tuesday-thursday and I WILL at least get this in the case and wired up to a useable state. I will have to finish the latches and wiring the LEDS next week I figure. But with paint and Install done I will be closer to completion.

Up next a [Cherry Red] a NZXT Phantom 410 Red for my wife. Not a whole huge amount of mods just sleeving and a case badge and a PSU cover.

After that [Orange Box Redo] a old P4 single core dell running Ubuntu 11.10, gets a low budget shot in the arm with a 775 socket dual core Ubuntu 12.04LTS and a 400 watt antec PSU with a 5670 GPU. This thing is going to be loud.

I have some other ideas after that.. I want to give my Haf 922 blue a real nice paint and a few mods and build it with a Haswell/DDR4 system in mind. Also want to find a old AT server tower at least 25 inches tall and make a all out Steampunk build.

I also painted the Dwood Gear Grills.

Sanded them first and then primed...

And painted a Hammered Bronze color...

I then wet-sanded the whole case with 220 grit wet and dry sandpaper..

...

This is what the inside looked like after sanding..

Funny how hours of work only turn into a couple of worthwhile photos, But anyway here we are.. I put 2 coats of primer and let that dry over night. Then I sanded off a few imperfections and laid out the first coat of flat black.

I held the painted Gear Grill in the opening to get a Idea of the look..

I'm heading to town to pick up a second can of the flat black for the lid, and some new sandpaper.... More pictures later..

Cheers, Alder

Ok, flat black went on. It didn't look even... So I put a second coat. Went a little thicker with the second coat. Let that dry in the 100 degree weather and went to wet sand. I might has used the 220 in the dark XD Cut right back through both layers of flat. I'm letting that dry all night and if I dont like it in the morning its going Gloss Black..
