Ok, Got 3 coats of flat black on. I also cleared one corner real quick to make sure it looked good. I like it.

I'm wet sanding with 1000 grit tonight and clearing the whole thing. I also have to paint the MoBo Tray and then it can go together.. Big update soon. !!!!

Ok, to all the people still waiting on a update here we go. Thanks for the comments KG and Shadow

I have been working way to much to much lately. I also found a good guild for GW2 and have been spending some time on TS3 with them.

One of the other slowdowns I have had lately is the extreme heat here in Arkansas. Its hard to get motivated to mod after a 60+ hour work week when the next step is wet sanding and its 105 outside. But got that done and All the paint is done. Its final coats are going to dry overnight and then I'll be building this beast.

Ok, just because the painting has been on hold hasn't meant I haven't been working on this (and other computers) May I present my Low-Budget eyefinity Screens...

Don't laugh. Its one 22 inch AOC 1920 X1080 screen. A 20 inch Hannspree 1920 X 1080 screen that I found at a yardsale for 20 dollars. And a 18 inch LED TV that I have borrowed from my brother. XD
Heres my new background running 5760 X 1080 at the moment. Which is at the bleeding edge of what a HD 6870 really wants to run. I guess i see a 7970 or 670 in my future.

Ok on to a few paint shots...I solved the its to hot to wetsand for hours problem. The wife only protested a little.. XD

... 1000 grit

The case after 2 coats of Clear..

The lid and MoBo Tray in there last coats..

Closeup of grabber Green MoBo Tray...

Closeup of the lid..

I found out a second problem with the outdoors right now.. Besides being hot as a flatiron, there is woodticks. I hate them. I blame porch dog.

Anyway, hopefully I will have some assembly shots for you guys in the morning.

My deadline is Aug, 28th I have to press thro and finish this.

Cheers, Alder

I love it...wet sand in the tub. Lmao. Man that green just friggen jumps out at you. Wow before when you said you were going to use that green I wasn't sure if I would like it, but after seeing it, I'm digging it. I need to refocus and get my last few pieces made. You and shadow make feel like I'm slacking, lol.

Ok, assembly begins...

What a mess
..

I hate my slow internet. I'm getting 259 KBPS download and 79 KBPS upload. But I'm going to get these up for you guys anyway.

Installed the Handles first.

Then I put on the Bottom and then the Front Bezel.

...

Then I pop-riveted the MoBo tray to the back of the case.

I used the 4 brass nuts and fastened down the MoBo tray.

Then I installed some Heavy U-Channel.

I'm going to put a small Copper clip on the bottom to hide the seam.

Here are some pictures of where the case is at now..

Ok, whats next? I have to buy some longer screws for both Fans. I also need to paint the rest of the springs for the lid and finish cutting and sleeving the rest of the PSU wires.

I also plan on painting the fan grills Green as well.

Small morning update,

I ordered a 80mm fan grill from MNPCtech and it was in the mail that same day. And Bill replied to my message on facebook in like 20 minutes. Sometimes you get what you pay for, customer service is king.

I'm off to get the last bits of screws and things to finish this build. Big update tonight.
