Quick update... I took about 3 weeks off modding and built a couple daily driver PC for coworkers and stuff. The [Black Box] is sitting next to my desk collecting dust at the moment. I think I'm going to start back in on it now that the fever of GW2 has started. I really want to finish it and I am just waiting on some longer Sata Cables before I move the System into it.

I built one of the Systems in a Rosewill Challenger case and wile its not a bad case its not worthy of modding I don't think. The main gripe being that the 24 pin cable won't fit behind the Motherboard tray. Here's a picture of it finished.

I'm about to start a build in a NZXT Source 210 Case we will see how that on goes.

Cheers, Alder

Thank you

My Sata cables came in yesterday and I should be able to start moving the build into the new case soon.

Just been through every friken page and thank god I did, given me so many ideas. Have you thought that the fact it will have zero cable hiding ability for airflow, or not to worried about any airflow restriction?
Either way mad build, the Steam-Punk style is just epic, will surely win MOTM when complete. thumb.gif

Thank you, Thank you Mad indeed.

And yes I do have a plan for the cable routing. I have paracord wrapped copper wires about 6 inches long that coil around the wires in the case. They are fastened to the bottom of the tray with stainless steel 10-32 bolts. The planning stage of that is where I'm at right now.

Fair enough, Considering you've keep the Radio still radio looking is one of the best parts. no one would've ever thought of doing this and thank god some one did, I think there may be some fair wacky builds coming up soon due to this one. Does it drive you absolutely mental that you don't get spend more time on it?
Only reason i love still being at school is that when i get my case I will have so much time to spend on it. anyway can't wait too see the finished product keep it up.

Yeah, I was planning on having it done for August MoTM but when that got pushed back I just kinda took a break on it. I built 3 other PC in the last couple weeks thou. So the itch to mod has been held at bay.

I did get the new SATA cables for it in.

And here it sits camped out on top of [Orange Box]

Cheers, Alder

Thx, I'm going to have some updates on this tonight. Was going to yesterday but my evil couch caught me and put me asleep. XD

Edit: I have all the parts in hand to start my next build. Except I need the power supply and desk drive from the temp case I have black boxes parts in. So Black Box is back on track for quicker completion.
