The green doesn't work... I would have gone with orange personally. It would have reflected the warm colors of your aged metal far better

Thanks, XD

To do list:

Finish Sleeving power cables.

Put front USB and headphone/mic jacks in.

Run LEDS under case and maybe inside and wire them to the other switch.

Sleeve and install a 3 pin fan splitter.

Finish the front of the case. (needs 2 more clasps under fans, and 2 more holes in Bezel filled.

relocate SSD drive to inside the case and make a power cable for it.

Install latches and Lid lifters once wiring is all Done.

Install copper sleeved wire holders inside to neatly hold all the wires in place.

Plenty left to do and lots more pictures coming.. thanks for following this build

Cheers, Alder

I took a few pictures of the case swap as I moved my parts over to [Black Box]

This is the old CM 430 elite that I was using for a temp.

Couple shots of the old case

Time for the stock heatsink to go. Went to install the CM Hyper 212 Evo

It was about 1/4 to tall. That kind of sucks... But I do have a Zalman 9000 cooler that is still worlds better then Stock Intel.

So that was one problem sorted.. then I had another, The 6870 wouldn't slide down into the slot. turns out it was to tight of a fit between the MoBo and the PCI-E bracket. (Some modder MIGHT have sorta eyeballed the gap when it was getting mocked up)

So I had to get out the drill and do a big no-no. I drilled the rivets out wile the mobo was still in the case. I took a vacuum and made sure all the little bits of metal were out of the case thou.

I got the card in place and re riveted the PCI-E bracket in place. I only had to move it a tiny bit.

Here are a few more pictures of whats left to do.. See my last post for the list.

Cheers, Alder
