It looks great, but I think some of the imperfections were a little too much to make it look good. Some imperfections look fine, but some of the chunks on your case looked like you painted over flaky rust.
My only other thing is I'm still not sure about the green. I really like it, but I almost wish it were a more "classy" color. The black/bronze/silver is sexy and classy....the green isn't the classy contrast your case could really have. However, it does pop. I like it, and my fiancee is in LOVE...but I'm wondering what it would've looked like with more bronze accents/fans/etc to match with that gorgeous front-center plaque.

I get that, i'm not 100% happy with the finish either. It will get a repaint at some point in the future for sure. Its awesome that you have followed the whole thing this closely as well. Thanks for the good input. I can say that all the rust did get sandblasted off before paint. its a shame I couldn't have saved the original finish. O well XD

I know the rust got blasted off, but it doesn't look that way through the paint from some of the pictures. However, the picture I saw could've been closer than I realized. I guess I'm saying I'd resand/bondo/paint the whole thing if and only if it looked like it was "damaged" or rusty under the paint. Only in person can you really tell. The "patina" style is really cool (I think) especially on a case like that. I'd just be worried it would look grungy or poorly done, and you've put too much work in to that case for it to look like you did a bad job, y'know?

Ok, so I finished the top side LED's...

I must say I under estimated the amount of time I would have to put into the soldering. I also didn't get as much time on this as I would have linked. But we move on.

I am just going to show the pics. And yes I did burn a hole in my hand with the soldering iron.. XD part of the learning process XD

I'm off work the next 2 days.. I'll get this thing back together..

Cheers, Alder (Jeremy)

Ok, Got the lid painted

I made a decision today... I am going to use this case for a couple (3-4) months wile I am working on Conundrum and then take it ALL the way apart and give it a show-car worthy paint job. But for now I just need to get it running.

Pretty much Final Pics... I need to clear the lid and put the plexi-glass in.

With LED's on and the lights out

Wonderful job sir thumb.gif To follow your black/green scheme, you should take the heat sinks off your ram and pain those green. The red kinda ruins the look a little..
