OK, Finished redoing the Fans. Got all 4 sleeved and with Black 3 pin ends. Much better.

1st try from couple weeks ago.

Why not sleeve the cables all the way?

I did it with my AP-14's. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Dang that looks good, But if I did that then the backplates I'm making might not fit.

Just jump in and learn as you go. Thats what I did. Although I do have a lot of tool and machine shop experience to fall back on for the larger stuff. Its a great Hobby. I started Modding old Win XP PC's that I bought at yardsales for 5-10 bucks. That way if you ruin it or hate it its no great loss

If you're using backplates with those fans, then the "missing part" will probably not even show, so. smile.gif

Nice build you got there and cool ideas, keep up the good work! thumb.gif

For all you Matte Black fans...

7305358628_e5b6e858b8.jpg

Picked this up today. I'll run a Matte coat first. If I don't like it I'll Sand it down and go Gloss

I also decided to add a 3rd color brass... It will help tie in the face plate and give me a color to use in Places that Black or Green might not look good.

Glad to see you're considering matte black.

Awaiting final pictures!
