Painted!!

And now, Its a sneak peek of what I have planned for these.. I plan to wrap them in bare copper wire. And then lightly paint them and scuff most of it back off. I did about a 6 foot long peice for a test.

Tell me what you think? Also sorry for the bad Pic quality on these. its getting dark here.

I think that will look great. maybe if you let the copper oxidize completely to the green color it would match your cable color scheme perfectly

Over time it will do that I'm sure... And yeah I guess it will match. Good thinking.

Thank you. Glad you like it.

Quik update.

I'm waiting for the last few parts to arrive from Performance-PCs and a couple items from a very cool other source that I will leave a hint about below. I'm sure everyone here will know who I'm talking about. XD

This build is sick! You will be stoked on the finish that comes from the laser cut steel that "cough" Dwood "cough" has. I left my stuff the way it came.

Ok, update time. I got alot done on the case today I got the PSU mount holes drilled, I got the Mounts from that old Dell that I gutted rehabbed and welded to the lid of the the case. Also got a good 220 sand on the the whole thing and re primered it. All told around 5 hours of modding after I got off work at 6 am this morning. So don't mind the dumb things I will no doubt type and look at the pictures. XD

Psu Mounted.

Little extra here. It must go

Much better

7403152706_c49b46d586.jpg

Then I mounted it with 3M Double sided tape to check clearances

Its on there, and it fits but Barely. I have about 1/2 inch between the bottom of the dvd drive bracket and where I "Think" the graffics card will be.

7403144460_f3147bef27.jpg

next victim... The HDD bracket. It also had to be trimed up alot. Since I'm using it in a way that the good people at Dell never planned.

A little quality time with a poor mans metal break. Its amazing what you can do to the guts of a PC with a bench vice a 20 ounce hammer and a little " Can Do" attitude. (More like a if I mess this up theres more under my modding bench attitude XD)

7403136794_a2f2f5fe4c.jpg

Both brackets welded to the bottom of the lid.

Minor Paint issues.. XD

Started Sanding with 220. At this point I was getting really tired and forgot to snap any pics of the sanding process. But I assure you it was boring and filthy and not in a good way.

7403115928_6838ee0f72.jpg
...

At this point I realize that I forgot to show any pics with the lid on the shocks and the Dvd Drive in. Wait I even forgot to take them.. Brb, wile I wander Outside and take some outdoor shots. EDIT INC...

Edit: In more Pics...

Primered bottom of the lid.

A nice far-up? err far-in? Ish Ehh a differnt shot XD

With the lid on.. note how the DVD drive is hiding out.

HDD drive is hiding as well

Much smoother after sanding down with 220.
