New fans on my H100 - Page 2

You could go with AP-29's and PWM mod them. I haven't tried it yet myself, but they do have the fourth contact point on the PCB.thumb.gif

They should have slowed down unless you have an H100 with a bad block, as some were shipped with issues.

You didn't notice any difference between the settings?

Since you got me paranoid I'm running prime 95 tests to see if I can hear a difference with the fans. I definitely do, the ram fan was covering the noise. So since I don't need PWM fans to use the controller what's the advantage to them if any?

Also now it seems the problem will be finding AP-15's, any recommendation for a fan with the same performance?

Im using four AP15s on my H100 and they do a great job. My case fans make noise than the AP15s

Really, if your that fussed about cable sleeving, you could do it yourself. The quailty of a fan is not based on how nice it looks. If it was, we would all be in trouble tongue.gif
