I didn't know speedfan came out with a fan controller option on one of the recent versions.
I used it in the past, but it was too simplistic. You couldn't fine tune it.
Now, there's a fan adjustment screen much like afterburner's software.
I've got most of my fans turned off during normal use, and then slowly gets ramped up when I load up the system. Too much talk about which is the best fan, etc. when most of the time you would be better served using speedfan with some less expensive fans. BTW, right click the nodes to show you exactly what percent it's on and to fine tune it up or down. And it also controls your gpu fan.
