I want to hear what everyone does to prep a new rad. Everyone has different techniques and how long they run water or vinegar through it.

I just use hot distilled water with a quarter cup of vinegar. Shack vigorously for a few minutes, then continue the process with plain distilled water for a few more rinses. You should take the time to dunk it in the sink before and check for any air bubbles which would indicate a leak.

I'm planning to just let a tap water flow though it for 15 mins or so, then flush it with distilled and mount it up. The tap water flow rate should be a lot higher than what my pump will be able to achieve so if 15 min of tap water aint got it loose it aint getting loose I would assume.

Shake with 50/50 water/vinegar here as well, drain into white bowl and when clean rinse with distilled.
