3/8 ID Compression Fitting question.

Thread Starter
Hi,
I'm going to buy 3/8 ID 1/2 OD tubing and was wondering If I could use 3/8 ID 5/8 OD compression fittings with them.
I know the OD is different, but only by 1/8'ths of an inch. Would it be a disaster If I used it.
Thanks.

I dont think the locking ring will grip the tubing like that, I believe for compressions you HAVE to use the right size tubing or it wont seal. Barbs of course are a different story

You have to use the proper size. Koolance and Swiftech both make good looking 3/8" ID 1/2" OD compressions.
