How to find out what the latest hardware is

like the title says how can i tell what the latest hardware is. and if i do find the latest hardware how do i know what works best with gaming?


also how can i tell what memory to get if i remember right not all memory work with all mobos im talking about ddr3

sorry for the dum questions i did build my pc that i have in my sig but it was 1 year ago cant for the love of god remember how i found the latest hardware or how i knew what memory modules i was supposed to get

ask for guidance from the lord.

No just kidding, your best bet is to just keep up with technology and review benchmarks. There is no other "reliable non-biased" way of reviewing technology imo, unless you know someone who is clearly unbiased and knowledgeable. "What works best with gaming" is what parts that fits your budget and meets or max out your $/performance list, such question can only be answered by yourself; it ties into why you yourself have to be knowledgeable. As for knowing which memory works all Motherboard manufacturer should have a compatibility list somewhere on their websites.

Your current computer is still pretty much top of the line unless you want to go extreme.

Follow hardware news... and post on the forum when you are actually planning on upgrading. There is no point with your current computer, you could spend around 2 grand and get like 10% better performance.
