Help only if you have a cooler master Silent Pro Gold 1000W

Hello,

today I was cleaning my computer and I looked at the 24 Pins and I found a missing pin from my 20 pins.

so if you look at the 20pins of the PSU and count them they will be only 19 pins + 4. is that only me or all cooler master PSUs like that?

here is an image. BTW this is just a random image from the net. that is not my PSU connector.

NVM guys. I looked at the cooler master website and I can tell from the images that one pin is missing. weird !

thanks anyways.

here is the cooler master 24pin image from their website.

It's normal, the missing cable is -5V connection. The PSU lacks that wire because the ATX specifications tell that the PSUs shouldn't have -5V rail, as it's only used by old ISA cards.

So, it's good that your PSU lacks that connection. Every recent PSU lacks that rail.
