[Toms Hardware] Diablo III Performance, Benchmarked - Page 3

It was meant to play like a 5 year old game. The chart shows it can play on any rig. A better benchmark would have been with tablets, those are supposed to surface before console.

I will get a chuckle at anyone that creates a thread about rig building for d3.tongue.gif

Where did you get that lappy for so cheap??
I knew D3 wouldn't be that demanding I've just been telling people that want to play it to get a A8 Laptop. biggrin.gif

A cheap CPU such as pentium G850 and cheap video card like HD6770 should give you 60fps @ 1080p resolution

This game is not demanding at all. Pentium CPU performs almost on par with i7 at 1080p

Make sure they wait for Trinity. 40% increase in 3DMark scores over Llano.. I'll take that!

As for his secret, Lenovo Outlet http://outlet.lenovo.com . Takes a bit of luck to catch a sale but jeez.. the system's you'll find! I've seen i5-2500 desktops for $400, I got a 1080p/Quadro/i5 Thinkpad T510 for $600, they've had Y-series in the sub-$500 range at least 2-3 times now, etc.

Are you running 6 monitors? Anything less is overkill for any current game. eek.gif
I'd have to sell myself for 3x7970. laugher.gif

On topic: My onboard will be able to run D3 fine at 1024X768 on medium settings. thumb.gifdevil.gif

3x120hz

maybe overkill, but whatever. I can always throw the third one into another pc.

I do have Ambient Occlusion on Quality, 16x AF, etc set in my driver control panel though. Beta is beta. I've seen streaming videos of people experiencing the same, so I only assume it's a drivers/beta.

I had a few hiccups as well. My first run through I was getting constant 60+ fps, but my second run through dropped to around 30-40. It was odd. ( this being on 2600k / 460SE @ 1080p all max settings )
