The Game is for the mass market for users with average PC´s.
Everyone with a Dual core and a 8800GT+ will be able to play it at High settings with hardly any trouble maybe when theres a Witchdoc a Wizzard and alot of Spells on the Screen Framerate will drop else i guess not.

Just a note of correction, WoW has been using the DX11 API since the release of Cataclysm 1 1/2 years ago. But, they use the API for a performance boost since running DX11 vs DX9 nets an increase in frame-rates by about ~30% or so.

seems about right... they have consistently released these games to run on a WIDE variety of equipment and never requiring anything even remotely bleeding edge.

This makes me feel good about my latest upgrade. Now I know I can run 4 instances of this game all on high settings without dipping under 60 fps in each one. Finally! biggrin.gif

Does anyone know if D3 will feature a shared stash?

Speaking of this. I will find the link. But on some older ATI cards, Diablo 3 has some issues with the latest 12.4 drivers. But its for low end 4xxx cards and earlier cards. Higher end 4xxx cards (4870+ 5,6,7 series) are good to go with the latest 12.4 drivers.

PCMAG Article
Quote:
"With respect to the subject of this article, we've recently found an issue where some of our legacy graphics products are producing certain artifacts in Diablo III with our latest release of AMD Catalyst 12.4," wrote AMD product marketing manager Robert Hallock, in a comment on PC Perspective's website.
"This issue only affects users of ATI Radeon HD 2400, 2600, 2900, 3400, 3600 and 4500 graphics cards under Windows Vista and Windows 7. Users of these products under Windows XP are unaffected, as are users of ATI Radeon HD 5000, and AMD Radeon HD 6000 or 7000 series products. We are working directly with Blizzard to investigate the issue with the highest possible priority and will provide updates as they become available."
