Was thinking of this for a Res.

Unless you have a crazy restrictive build there is no reason to go with a dual pump setup. I would recommend a mcp35x or a mcp355 as both have excellent head pressure, small footprint, and long lifetimes.

That's not a pump, that's a pump TOP. And I don't think you would need a dual pump top if you're to run with only 1 pump

You would also need a CPU block, Tubing, Fittings, Kill coil, Radiators, and Fans. If you also plan to run your GPU and Motherboard underwater, you would need blocks for those as well.

It would also be helpful if there was something like a budget, your parts, and the case you're going to work with, so we have an idea on the parts we can recommend you.

I was thinking of getting a 360 rad. I am RMA'ing my 500R for a Switch 810. Mainly wanting to run a CPU block ATM because GPU blocks are quite expensive. Not so much a price limit as I want good performance. I'd say about 350-400 max on a set up? Is that good or too low? lol. I defiantly want this reservoir though.

Here is my build.

Mobo - MSI Z77A-GD65
CPU - i5-2550k
RAM - 8 GB of Mushkin Enhanced Black Line 1600 MHz
HDD - 1 TB Samsun F1
SSD - 120 GB Mushkin Chronos
Fans - 4 140mm Aeroshark Cool
Case - 500r but buying a Switch 810 soon.
Heatsink - H80 but buying parts for a custom WC kit. DIY style
PSU - Rosewill Capstone 750W

Pretty much anything anyone needs to know I guess.

I've read a lot of forums and watched a few videos on self made WC kits, but any suggestion you have or builds you can make for me would be greatly appreciated.

Also I was thinking about going with Mayhem's X1 for coolant and possibly his unrestricted CPU block.

I can definitely say that making your own custom loop can definitely have its advantages. Choosing out all the parts you want and really customizing your setup can make the loop look and perform really great. I can definitely recommend the DT 5Noz water block, very little restriction and great performance.

Thanks! Yeah I still need help assembling a pump, tubing, etc. I am going to be straight forward and say I have no idea what I am doing except what I learn by reading and watching videos. If someone wants to throw some* compatible ideas toward me I love appreciate it greatly!

Consider something like this. It's a cheaper reservoir but still has the same function. I wouldn't bother buying coolant. Just use distilled water (usually $1/gallon from your local supermarket).

You may also want to consider XSPC Raystorm Extreme 360 Kit $300

It's really hard to beat the price of that kit for what you get.
