I recommend just one reservoir. Fittings are mostly based on your preference, bitspower fittings look better (imo) but the XSPC ones are cheaper.

No need for 2 reservoirs unless you are making 2 loops, which in your case do not need to. Lol

Ok well you don't need to buy a separate pump top because you pump will already come with one. You need to choose your tubing size like I said. It is up to you. If you don't plan on having too many bends, then you can go with 1/2 x 3/4 tubing or for more turning ease and slightly smaller tubes, you can go for 7/16 x 5/8 tubing. It all depends on you. There are more sizes out there to chose from too. Once you pick your tubing, then you can choose color. I recommend Primoflex tubing as it is the most recommended tubing around.

Once you figure that out, you will need a minimum of 8 compression fittings for your setup. These can be straight fittings or angled fitting depending on your case, setup, etc.

I would HIGHLY recommend making your loop on paper to see how it will look and if you are going to need any angled fittings.

lol Yep. I know that much. My big puzzler right now is what does a different size tubing do? I'm guessing small bends easier and thicker is... flows better? If you could lay out what tubing size equates to what I would totally love it.

Also, do I need Jubilee/Worm clips if I use compression fittings?

Different tubing sizes, well means different tubing sizes. I recommend 1/2 ID x 3/4 OD or whatever it is, as that's the common standard. 7/16 ID x something or rather is slightly smaller, so will give a much tight fit on 1/2 x 3/4 barbs. Alot recommend this, but personally I've had no issues with 1/2 tubing.

Don't even bother with 3/8 tubing. Mainly for REALLY tight bends and aesthetics, otherwise theres no real reason + fittings are more scarce for the 3/8 size.

You need nothing with compression fittings, with normal barbs you would need clamps, but thats the 'compression' part of compression fitting wink.gif

Oh, and the difference between 1/2 and 3/8 tubing is obviously the size, which restricts how much water can through. I've heard the temperature differences are miniscules, it's more just 1/2 is more common when it comes to fittings and whatnot.
