All DDR memory is doubled in frequency, whether it be DDR1, DDR2, or DDR3. It's always double data rate so even if it were DDR3 it's the same scenario.

Yes but DDR3 for Phenom II type CPUs runs at 1333 MHz. by default. Thus I was thinking his RAM was lower than the default. My Bad. redface.gif
