Welcome to OCN.

RMA the corsair unit, they have 7 year warranties. As for the dual loop, you could have gone with a single loop and had about the same results. Be sure to post in the watercooling section if you have any questions, the community here is second to none in helpfulness!

Have fun! thumb.gif

i have always used corsair psus for my personal rig and so far so good. if you have not reached out to their support yet, you may want to check with CorsairGeorge (corsair rep here at ocn), and see what options are available to you.

welcome to ocn biggrin.gif

That's tough luck. I have the PNY LC GTX580 as well, except mine doesnt include the CPU in the loop. I'm really impressed with mine. Welcome to OCN.

Ah you guys convinced me - I am on chat with Newegg at the moment asking if I can change that RMA to a refund instead of a replacement. I hope they help me... I'll stick with the RMA'ed Corsair AX 1200 I got back.

YAY! They changed it to a refund. I'm golden!

Thanks guys!

My system was routinely getting up over 50c with the cooling on this - maybe it can handle the video card alone, but adding the CPU on with just a single 120-mm fan radiator, just didn't work.

My air cooler, believe it or not, did a better job keeping temperatures down. Because of how big it was, it started to settle/lean and crush the northbridge fan, making it grind - I had to replace the cooling system as a result, because tying it off with twine to the side of the case just wasn't working anymore.

If the old video card isn't fried, I am stripping it down to the base card and buying a new waterblock for it from Danger Den.

Maybe I just have lower standards. smile.gif I see about 54C max, but I'm overclocked to 950 gpu / 2200 mem.

Ahhh... I wasn't overclocked though. I've never actually overclocked a system, and before my last one I never saw temperatures get higher than 38c, so when I started seeing 50, I kinda freaked out a little.

Be careful with waterblocks. The full coverage waterblocks are normally for reference designs. You may have to go the universal waterblock way with heat sinks.

To check and see if your vid card is a reference design, check where the board plugs into the PCI-E if nVidia is written. If not then you'll either have to jerry rig it or go the universal block route.
