How often do I meet a hacker? About 1 in 100 games.
How often do I meet some noob complaining that a good player is hacking? About 1 in 3 games

The people that bother me are not the hackers, but the whiny noobs. There's no honor in being a good player anymore. You are easily stripped of it as soon as a bunch of average players are in disbelief that someone out there is significantly better.

Who cares, Battlefield 3 was fun for about 3 months for me and that's it. I'm over it, fanito, done. Never buying a Battlefield 3 game again. Haven't played it for 2 months.

Still I fail to see how a blog quoting reddit regarding a guy basically telling everyone exactly how unstoppable hacks make you is newsworthy. If anything it's giving the hacks advertisement.

None of it is actual news and the only part that could be considered news (his numbers of how many people hack) is just a wild guess.

If you're being team wiped/killed by a ammo box. It's rather obvious and you don't need a "killcam" to even tell you that he's cheating.

You're as well talking about the obvious cheaters who aimbot. If you even pay attention to kill feed you could immediately realize if someone is aimbotting as long as he has the FOV set high.
Not everyone who's cheating is blatantly obvious. Setting fov on aimbot to around 10, with a more, human aim, aimbot feature and you got yourself a very hard to detect aimbot. Some reason I thought you were talking about radar hacks/wall hacks/chams when I quoted you.

EA/Dice spent millions re-doing their entire rack/server base over the fall/winter and their entire service is actually farmed out? ~ I didn't know that.

Now, I get it...

Dice allows the GSP to host the game on whatever backbone they choose as long as it communicates with their base...That's really not very smart but, okay.

So, all they require you to do, as the GSP is have the latest version and you're essentially an O/O?

It is easy to detect cheaters
Just see the time of use of weapons, deaths per minute with each weapon

I have to 4.07 KDR About 370 hours of playtime Almost

I have banned 3 or 4 servers have a high KDR ...

Now, I get it...
Dice allows the GSP to host the game on whatever backbone they choose as long as it communicates with their base...That's really not very smart but, okay.
So, all they require you to do, as the GSP is have the latest version and you're essentially an O/O?

EA/Dice spending millions to redo their servers, etc are probably more for Origin content I would believe, but I honestly have no idea and that would be my best guess. Game developers/Publishers are normally not the ones who host servers. There are obviously few exceptions like MMORPG's and etc. These have monthly fee's though to keep the servers up and running and normally new content/bug fixes that are more frequent.
