Windows 7 installation on SSD Help

Thread Starter
This is my first post on Overclock and so it happens, my first computer build. I have a Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD that I want to install windows on as a boot drive. I also have a WD Black Caviar HDD that I want to use for storage.
1) I read that it is recommended to just have the SSD connected upon Windows 7 installation. Is this true? And if so, after installation, do I just connect the HDD and windows will recognize the HDD?
2) I have the SDD connected to the Intel SATA controller while my HDD is connected to the Asmedia SATA controller. Does this matter?
Thank you in advance for the help. smile.gif

Take a read through this: http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds - it should answer all of your above questions, and possibly a few more smile.gif Enjoy the new system and SSD!
