Questions/mysteries regarding my new CM Stormtrooper case.

I'm in the process of finishing my first build. I'm using the CM Storm Trooper case. I was about to complete the cable management on the back and close things up when I noticed at the back of what I'm guessing is the SSD hot-swap bay a green board with a male 4-prong molex plug and a SATA plug. Are there supposed to be cables coming off of these plugs??? If so, why doesn't the owner's manual mention that. If not, what are those plugs for?

A somewhat related question: The hard drive activity light is never lit even though the 2-pin IDE_LED is plugged in correctly. Is there a wiring issue with the font panel of this case??? Also, is there supposed to be a 2-pin system power LED (PLED) coming out of the front panel? If so, I sure can't find it.

I don't want to finalize the assembly of my system only to find out later that there are some issue that will require my tearing it apart.

Thanks a lot! Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The panel is for the hot-swap. You need to connect a power cable and a regular sata cable to it, then other side to the motherboard. AHCI also needs to be enabled in both Windows and the motherboard bios.

Thanks a lot for the info, especially about ensuring that the AHCI is enabled in both the motherboard BIOS and Windows.

What about my second question: "The hard drive activity light is never lit even though the 2-pin IDE_LED is plugged in correctly. Is there a wiring issue with the font panel of this case??? Also, is there supposed to be a 2-pin system power LED (PLED) coming out of the front panel? If so, I sure can't find it."

Again, thanks a lot,

THE CASE HAS A DIFFERENT FRONT PANEL WIRING SETUP, THE NORMAL LED PLUGS ARE CONTROLLED THROUGH THE BLACK 4 PIN MOLEX POWER

CONNECT THIS AND THE FRONT LED CONTROLS AND FAN ON OFF WILL WORK!
