Front case fans

Helloo

This is a picture of the inside of my case at the front

http://members.optusnet.com.au/armcc...puter/back.jpg

My question is, if I put 1 or 2 case fans there, will it circulate air better? I have 2 80mm coolermaster fans at the back. The problem with the front of the case though, is there is no holes or anything for air to be pulled through by the fans. Is it worth putting a fan or 2 in there anyway?

You betcha!

Keep the air pressure a little on the positive side (intake > exhaust).

I took another look at your case, are you sure that there are noe openings on the side that allow for airflow? Are you up to a little modding?

Hmmm....

Odd that the manufacturer would put what seems to be mounting options w/o any breathing holes/ducts. What about alond the edge (neither of your pics shows this area:

The dark holes represent the holes you could drill if you have the space.

I prefer to have negative pressure to keep the air from standing is spots.

I read ( ) that positive is good for preventing dust settling, and to keep a "push" on the exhaust. I have no emperical data to this effect, whadya think?

There isnt any holes on the side either for breathing, but I could definately drill holes like you suggested
I have 2 3.5" drive bays at the front, one of which I have spare. What if I drilled the holes on the sides, and either took out the 3.5" panel or modified it in some way?

And that is a crazy setup Robilar!

I would get two high cfm 80mm's for the rear of the case. Then drill a 120mm hole in the top back of your case with a high cfm fan like a delta. Then put four low cfm fans on the front of your case. (200 + 50*2 for rear fans, 20-30*4 for front fans.) Also, I have never seen a case with four front 80mm holes, I like the look of it : ).
