Thanks for the comments. I took your advice and got some better cooling and dropped the clock to 3.7Ghz. My motherboard has bad vdroop getting close to 1.5v.

I couldn't find any local store that sold proper mosfet heatsinks, so I went to the local HomeHardware and picked up 3 of these for $3.99 ! a piece; just need to find some good thermal tape.

any recommendations for thermal tape?

My cpu is overclocked and stable but not prime stable. When I run prime95 fft for about 2 minutes my temps get 72°C and my pc performs a thermal shutdown.
