What did you set the controller to in temps? 10c?

That was at 100% load on the TEC's right?

That is really nice!!!

I think we found a way to hit 5Ghz easy on IB.

yep.. The chip I tested is about as bad as it gets, you find a reasonable chip and 5ghz+ easy with this block.

So you're running them at 12v?

That means about 400w of heat output (I might be wrong, getting use to these heat outputs)? a 480mm rad in that case to cool it with sub 2k rpm fans?

Is that 225w for all four?

If so, damn that mean you could run it on a 360mm rad with silent fans!

I'm running these tecs in the butter zone so to speak at about 14-16v..

Good question though..

The block is still R&D so I'll be doing more test @12v on a controller and probably on another chip because this one is just bad!!

But the block makes it sing like an Angel.. lol

Good temps! IB could especially benefit from TEC cooling because of their high core thermal density and overall reduced power consumption.
Send your block to me Mindchill and I will do a thorough testing for you! I have six 3570K and motherboards here and they are good overclokers. biggrin.gif

Sweet Jesus those are some awesome temps. Rediculous how hot the new Ivy Bridge get. Hope it doesn't ruin their overclockability like it did with this CPU.
