Mailman came by with two packages at noon from Bitspower and PPC! Ordering directly from BP isn't too bad. Ordered the fittings and my reservoir last Friday evening, got shipped Saturday and came on Thursday, today.

448
Bitspower means serious business seeing that the boxes they ship have their logo on it along with the packaging tape! I didn't bother taking a picture of the USPS Priority Mail box since it was fugly.

448
The rest of my fittings! All Shining Silver! drool.gif I also got an "ICE Black" 240mm Water Tank Z. This version has yet to be sold in the US so I'm quite happy to have something like this.

448
448
448
448
448
I forgot to put half of them in the previous pic, but here are all of them. The Multi-F blocks are bigger than I thought they would be and have some heft to them! I'm quite amazed by the quality in manufacturing by Bitspower.

448
For color comparison. I use the 80mm one to flush my pumps in a small loop when its time for maintenance.

700
All 3 together. The ICE Black 250 replaces the ICE Red 400 due to clearance issues. My comments on it are in the Component Gallery.

448
My order from PPC. Used the Mother's Day discount, except I'm not a mother... haha! Well, this is going to be one MOTHER of a build. I'll take the blocks out when I get my other package from Watercool. I ordered the backplates and newer SLI bridges directly from Watercool eK in Germany.

On a side note, PPC keeps giving me barbs with every order I make for some reason. Bitspower sent me what appears to look like.... bookmarks with their logo, merchandise and calendar confused.gif

Small update! I bricked my Netgear WNDR4500 so we had only one broadband line we had to share at our place for awhile. It really pissed me off because I used the UI in the 192.168.etc to update it and when I came back after 3 hours, I though it was finished, but noticed it didn't have internet connectivity. Had no choice but to reboot the router given the situation and now I have to send it in to get fixed. But to replace it in the mean time, I bought an Asus RT-66U Gigabit Router Dual Band Wireless-N900. I like it! The broadcast range is a bit wider and my PS3 can actually connect to it (Netgear routers are notorious for snubbing Playstation 3 WiFi connections). I might just end up selling the refurbished WNDR4500 when I get it back.

I also picked up an Asus Xonar Phoebus! I'm really excited about this one. I haven't used a sound card since my very first PC which was a Pentium 4. I should probably get a better headset for it though. Perhaps the Asus Vulcan ANC headset?

The package from Watercool e.K. still hasn't arrived. Not that it matters anymore since I returned the waterblocks and put the GTX 680's for up for sale.... It arrived in the US last Tuesday, but tracking hasn't been updated since then. This was from an order I placed on the 8th as well. Perhaps I should stick to ordering locally. I'm just surprised Taiwan's snail mail was able to beat DHL frown.gif

Yeah sorry. The project is on hold since we needed a second car. I ended up buying a 370Z and our apt lease is ending soon. We need to move to bigger place... lots of money tied up atm lol. tongue.gif

Lately there are alot of new goodies coming out. I might just end up swapping out the RIVE board for the MVE when it comes out for Thunderbolt. I want to go nVidia Surround and am keeping an eye out for monitors that support it. RIVE will probably end up being sold or used on a testbench. Other interests include Corsair Platinum RAM, Corsair AX1200i PSU and will probably use different waterblocks. Been waiting for Watercool to release a Heatkiller block for the GTX 690 forever redface.gif

Hehe going a little off topic but our first car we got together was a Prius when we were still in school. Great car, but we wanted another steed that has rocket-like acceleration for the weekend.

I grew a heavy foot after driving the Prius for awhile since you really had to punch the gas when exiting into the freeway. When I first took the Z out into the freeway, I ended up hitting 90-100mph because of that habit of pushing the gas pedal down so hard the past few years lol.

I'm building a nice rig as well and plan to keep an eye on yours as you go (or when you start up again) and see how it comes out.

I'm really hoping you can get going soon as I've been looking at Asus Xonar Phoebus and rather drooling over it but I heard bad things.

I've read the comments about the Phoebus. I'm totally fine with the fact that it isn't the best out of Asus's Xonar line. For the past decade, I've been using onboard sound and have been perfectly fine with that as well. However, the difference is really noticeable after upgrading to the Phoebus. And since I'm using it mostly for gaming, the control knob with that nifty sound analyzer is pretty much perfect for what I need.

The comparison people are making is mostly price based. I'm sure if this card sold for $99, you would be reading completely different comments.
