Lost second display, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have dual ASUS VS248H-P monitors being run by two Sapphire Toxic 5850's. I have them hooked up by HDMI.

Last night I installed Skyrim and when Steam came up it said it could update the drivers for my video cards. Like a dumba$$ I allowed it and my second display went away. The update installed some AMD Catalyst. I uninstalled that to see if my display would come back and it did but the system required a restart and after the reboot the second display was gone again.

I tried to do a system restore but I could not get it to work. It kept saying my antivirus was blocking it even after I had it turned off. I am at a loss for what to do. Has anyone heard of this happening or does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks!!

I think if you go into safemode you will have display. Then uninstall all drivers, reboot and install drivers again.

UPDATE: I booted into safe mode and I still did not have my second display. I went into the device manager and uninstalled the drivers for both cards. I didn't reboot immediately, I tried to find the drivers online but was a little confused about which ones to use. The Sapphire site has a ton of downloads specifically for my cards. I ended up rebooting, going back into device manager and just right-clicked my cards under display adapters and did the update. As soon as the drivers installed my second display came back! I poked around a bit and decided to reboot to be sure the display would be there and.........it wasn't! When I right-click on desktop and go to screen resolution, I hit detect and the second display cannot be detected.

PLEASE, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I need to do. Just got the monitors and they were working great until this. This sucks!!!

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I have uninstalled the drivers again then reinstalled. Again, the second display came back but as soon as I rebooted it was gone and would not show up again. I have no idea what to do next!

SOLVED: Just a note for anyone who may run into this. I had the cards set up in crossfire when I had just the one monitor. I disabled crossfire and the second display came back immediately. Not sure why it worked before but with crossfire disabled it works great.
