All I know is I don't believe for a second 8XTXAA looks better then 4XMSAA because they also claim FXAA gives you IQ similar to 4XMSAA and that's laughable.

what are you going on about? I'm fully aware that the 690 consists of 2 GPUs, it's still a single graphics card though and the fastest one at that. Can't say it's the best though, that's so subjective it's not even funny. But yeah, fastest single card on the planet.

Who cares what range these products fall into, The more important question is what is all this power really for? Where are the games that take advantage of thousands of dollars? What incentive is there for any game developer to focus on such a niche market? I love sheep who spend all their money on something really unnecessary like a gtx690. Such is life tho, To each their own...

That's a good question. Here on OCN you find mostly the hard core enthusiast or computer hobbyist that want 'simply the best'. biggrin.gif (See what I did just there).

While "the $1 CEO club" usually means executives receive millions of dollars in stocks and other types of compensation, Jen-Hsun Huang and his team decided otherwise. The total salary AFTER tax and benefits was cut to $1, and no employee would get fired.

No. Nvidia is giving us some info about their "new 7 billion transistor GPU" (only one that makes sense is the GK100/GK110) during the GTC (GPU technology conference). The conference lasts from the 14th to the 18th iirc, so maybe we can expect some info after that. There's also no guarantees that anything is getting released soon.
