There are a lot of people with that same problem. I got 1 core that is 10c hotter than the rest.

Folding temps are generally a bit lower than those found in Prime95, yeah. These are results with my AP14s running at less than half-speed wink.gif (Push config) At 1450RPM it runs well under 70C @ 4.4Ghz 1.19v or so in Prime95 smile.gif My setup is about to change, though, so I'll post updated results later.

I don't know exactly the ambient but it had to be in the upper 60's / low 70's. (Any hotter than that in my house and I turn the AC on. biggrin.gif)

And updated prim95.

Yeah I have one core at idle that runs around 38C while another core runs around 30C and then the other two run about 33C. When I run prime, that hottest one ends up being the coolest and the two mid ones end up being the hottest. But, I think at 4.6, your temps may be normal. IBT runs hotter, but can handle higher temps.

Yeah, IBT makes me hit 89 on my hottest core within about 20 seconds, which I'm not super happy about.

That being said, when gaming the highest I've ever seen is mid 60s, so I'm happy with that.

That's actulaly not bad. Ivy can handle those temps. People were just used to SB not being able to.

By any chance, anyone here that owns both a H100 and a Noctua NH-D14/Thermalright Silver Arrow/Prolimatech Genesis? I'm interested, if used with the exact same fans, which will allow for a better overclock on a 3770K.

Hey Guys, I also have a 3570k and h100 cooler. I also have the ASRock Z77 extreme4 mobo, and according to the HW monitor, my CPU temp is around 36c-38c. I had to pre applied a new thermal paste( MX-2) because I changed CPU.

Those temps are fine. Generally anything up to 95c is in the safe zone for ivy. So if you run intel burn test and see 89 or 90 its ok lol.

Also GodofGaming i dont have a h100 but i have a nh-d14 and my 3570k is sitting at 4.6ghz on 1.288v and max temp is 83c when loading prime and 90 or 91 with ibt max.

I think for the h100, it is too hot ( in balance mode), prolly 5c hotter. Some people here are getting between 20-30. Using the MX-2, I use the "pea" method but i accidentally took it out from its position, so i just put it back in anyways.
