Having issues with Vengeance 1866 ram in crosshair V.

I am unable to get my 16gb of vengeance ram in 4gb sticks to run at advertised speeds on my Crosshair V. I have my 8120FX OC'ed to 4.3ghz with no problems detected with prime95, BUT when I overclock my ram to 1866, I get errors. Errors, both in prime95 and memtest86. I have tested each stick individually with memtest86 at stock settings and all 4gb sticks together at stock settings with no problems. I have also overclocked and tested each stick individually with no errors, but when I overclock and test all 4gb sticks together for some reason I get errors.

RAM settings are as follows:
Memory Frequency:
1866mhz
DRAM Timings:
9-10-9-27

CPU settings are as follows:
CPU Ratio:
21.5
CPU Voltage:
1.487500


Any help is greatly appreciated! Overall, I would like my ram to run at 2133mhz and keep my processor at 4.3ghz. If anyone has any guides or tips and tricks or even settings from their own machines that would be awesome if you would share. Thanks again!

Yes, I ran 8gb in the first two slots ran memtest86 test 8 for 24 times with only 1 error. I ran the other 8gb in the 3rd and 4th slot with no errors at all. I increased NB voltage a bit and it seems to be stable for right now. I guess we will see how it goes for the next couple days. I ran prim95 for 6 hours with no errors so I am crossing my fingers.

You will have to use the FSB to get your memory at it's rated speed with 4 sticks. I had the same issue with Patriot memory and a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3. Raise the BCLK to 233MHz, set timings to stock and voltage as well. Set the memory clock to x8.00 @1864MHz. This is the only thing that work for me and believe me I tried everything.

It's normal to need to bump the NB voltage with 4x 4GB. @ 1866 MHz. to get stability. Technically only two DIMMs are guaranteed to run @ 1866 MHz.

You guys mean CPU-NB voltage right? CPU-NB voltage is applied to the CPU's memory controller and L3 cache. NB voltage is applied directly to the northbridge.

Yes. Increasing the CPU-NB also increases the CPU temp so only use what you need for increased stability.

That explains why when I tested with 2 sticks it was stable but 4 was not. However, I do believe it was the CPU NB voltage that I increased, should I decrease it and increase just the NB voltage? My CPU is running at 61c at FULL load and not even close idle.
