Keep an eye out for a 6970 or 6950 thats a good card for what there going for. you would be better off going for a 480 because their going for like 200 and still provide great performance. thumb.gif

gtx480 is an extremely hot running card so better to stay away with it & btw it costs around $250 where as hd6870 costs $150 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948 thus hd6870 will be a better choice if he is looking for a cheap but good upgrade.

The 6870 will run hot too as almost any gpu but the 480 can be found on sale brand new for 200. By todays standards the 480 is still a hell of a performer. Good luck thumb.gif
