Anyone stream with two computers?

Hello Overclocker's!

I am currently trying to stream with xsplit, and would like to build another rig to stream my gaming computer using a capture card.

What types of specs should my "streaming" computer have? Will it be more CPU or GPU dependent?


I have 2 gtx 460's laying around to start off, if that is needed. Any information would be great thumb.gifthumb.gif

CPU dependent for sure, I don't think the GPU would even matter at that point with 2 computers, so just a single 460 would be more than fine. You should also check out your bandwidth if you haven't done so already: even if you can stream in 1080p at 45fps or something smoothly, overall stream quality will still be bottlenecked by your upload speeds. And just as an aside, do you know of any work around for Xsplit's audio, as in, increasing the quality since they changed their audio codec for free users?

I do not have any knowledge of streaming, but I have purchased a license a couple months ago, sorry do not know any info about sound frown.gif

That's a pretty impressive upload, you should probably be fine with even up to a 2500kb/s stream bitrate, which will make the quality quite nice. Though I don't know the Xsplit settings you would use exactly, as I've only ever streamed on one PC.
