EKWB nickel

Thread Starter
Just wondering, I hear a while ago there was something funky going I with exwb's nickel played gpu and CPU blocks, like something to do with corrosion because it wasn't done properly or something, any who if this was even true in the first place is it straight to get some now?

Thanks smile.gif

You still hear about random issues, but that is pretty much with any vendor. A year ago, there was wide spread nickel plating failure on EK's part.

I would asume those who get corrosion is those who use distilled water + any sort of extra.
Which is why I always recommend getting premixed. Its worth the extra cost in the end.

I have a full EK HF Supreme (EN) Nickel block and will open my whole loop up in a couple of days. I'll post pics up to show if any corrosion has occurred. I've only ran my loop for a month, so I'm not sure if I'll find anything. On a side note, my PrimoFlex tubing has started to turn a light shade of brown. I'm running plain distilled water with a kill coil. Water looks clear as day one, so not sure why tubing is starting to "fade color". Will post pics in a couple of days once I have time to pull everything out.

Yep same Primochill is the company that makes Primoflex tubing. I'll see if I can take a quick snap tonight once I get home.
