Just got one of these. It's a very nice unit, well made, quality parts. The Pwm fan connects to a lead off the pump and a single 4 pin lead from the pump connects to the CPU header. Configured this way it seems as though both the fan and pump are being temp/speed controlled buy the CPU header.
My question is it seems odd for the pump to be 'speed controlled' I should think the pump should run at full speed like most other kits I've seen.
Does anyone know if this is indeed how the Intel Kit works ? or does the pump somehow draw constant power from the CPU header. I've searched on Intel, Asetec (the oem) and even Zalman who have a similar kit, but none explain how the pump draws power. Any insight appreciated.
