OK peeps, looking for a nice video card for d3, would like to run it at max settings at 2560x1600 smile.gif was getting lil bit of help from intro section, thought i move my post over here for more interest and some more help, i was gonna get the 6850, but then newegg has a sale on right now, and was thinking of doing the XFX Black Edition 7770 since its on sale, wanna know if it is a weee bit better than the 6850 because im willing to get this XFX bad boy

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150599&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL050812&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL050812-_-EMC-050812-Index-_-DesktopGraphicsVideoCards-_-14150599-L08A

XFX Double D Black Edition FX-777A-ZDB4 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

also, my mommy board isnt 3.0 pci express, its... 2.1, will it still work on my board or it wont?? post up asap please, wanting to get a video tonite before i go to sleep from newegg because i want a video card for Diablo 3 smile.gif also wanted to know if this card can do 60fps at max settings too, thnx ^_^

The PCI 3.0 situation won't be an issue...

As for the two cards, they are both very close in performance. The 7770 uses less power, creates less heat, and isn't as loud as the 6850 and even beats out the 6850 in some games. While the 6850 beats out the 7770 in other games, but it does generate more heat, noise, and uses more power.

Truthfully between the two I would take the 7770, as performance is close enough the lower heat/noise/power being the deciding factor.

IMO 6790 or 6850 would be better
There's a nice 2gb 6850 on the egg somewhere..I think.

either of those cards will have no problem with D3 so your choice of 7770 for it isnt bad for the price and the 2 free games. D3 is not graphic intensive at all.
