1st mistake is your hardware is two completely different GPU Cards, with entirely different PCB's and electronics, these often cause Glitches, and hardware/software problems, in CF to run smoothly, if both exact same cards NOT used in CrossXFire Configuration. - (2nd is your VRAM which I will mention below)...
Also another very important *NOTE* is one crucial oversight (That would be your VRAM in One card is 1GB and the other Card is 2GB). Now I do NOT claim to be God nor have all the answers to whats really going on, with your setup.
However, I CAN CLEARLY SEE A NUMBER OF FAULTS that should have been addressed. (I'm sorry if I appear to be condescending, because I do not mean to be so, - so I apologize).
When going SLI for example (which is want I'm doing) both cards must be identical for the Nvidia software/drivers to work at their best intent. I also have limited experience in CrossXfire setups, and again its the same rule of thumb, both cards should be identical. Others may have a Go at me, and say No they do NOT need to be identical, I would have to disagree with 20+yrs experience, please its all common sense, not rocket science here folks.
Analogy (1). when buying a factory paired, Memory Pre packaged setup, they are tested in the factory by one human being, individual, & by a machine to confirm they are a matching pair, and from the same batch, so you get what you pay for etc.
That's for a reason so they work in your mother board, one they are delivered, or once you BUY and take them home. follow me.?
I think you are a bright enough man, for having the courage to ask for help... so for a lot of (members / people) have helped you in REPLYING to your plea for help.
I hope you have been able to finally fix the problem. By all this Time, as there are a lot of bright people in this room, perhaps brighter than myself, I hope even my reply may help others that may read..
Thanks for reading, Take care,(Geekerdom)
