I have heard that the Sennheiser PC 350 has bad bass. Will using a Amp help the bass quality? If so, how much? In case you want to know I live in the US and I will use this headset for gaming and dubstep in my house. Thanks for the help in advance.

Is it mainly uses on the PC? Or are they being plugged into other audio devices?

An amp/sound card will be able to give you better EQ, especially the sound card as you'll be able to manually tweak the settings yourself.

If you're a bit of a modder I think you can DIY extra bass in the phones, but you may want to read up about that. This guy on head-fi forums said it was pretty successful: http://www.head-fi.org/t/406187/modding-the-sennheiser-pc350-headset/360

I had the PC 350 and did the modification. I can say it wasn't that hard mod, it took roughly 30 minutes have to take apart the headphones, heating up the soldering iron, than putting everything back together. For me there was a noticeable increase to the bass with two holes per cup. Overall it did make the PC 350s a lot more enjoyable to listen to.

I don't want to mod it and also, I will mainly use it on my PC and I will every once in a while use it mobile, but that will be in a car.

I did the hero mod to my PC350s, i just used a hot screw driver, heated on my kitchen stove to melt holes into each of the driver enclosures. The mod made a world of difference.
