I have an I5 2500k that I want to get an appraisal on.

Currently running 4.8 ghz
375

Batch number#3111b236

Supposedly someone said on another forum that these can run 5.2-5.3ghz.

So what do you guys think? how much? if you need me to run anything else or try overclocking higher then 1.408 I can do that.

Wanted to add I have the original box and hsf. wink.gif

Looks to be a slightly above average chip. I wouldn't pay any more than $160 shipped for it personally. There's much MUCH better chips out there than this one, and you can play the silicon lottery for $170 brand new on these CPU's.

Cant really see the 5.2 there but it did run 5.2 stable at 1.53 v-core. I dont know if I want to take the vcore higher unless I can get more for it.
