I just bought another AM2/3 mobo to replace mine that died 4 months ago for this exact reason. I was hoping to hold out and upgrade to Trinity when it supposedly come out in mid-May (which turns out to only be for mobile), but I needed something more efficient for my desktop BEFORE the summer hits due to heat.

Besides, this way I get to use my (IHS-less) G2 stepping Brisbane again. I loved that thing man, ran so cool and was a crazy undervolter to boot wubsmiley.gif. (2GHz at 0.95v, stock 2.5GHz at 1.1v)
