r6970 Crossfire or Alternative?

Hi Guys

I currently have an MSI Lightning r6970 installed in my system. The card is currently oc'd at 1006 core and 1445 memory with max temps reaching 70c under 100% usage.

Should i get another lightning card and run them in crossfire, or would you guys suggest an alternative?

Please keep in mind, i would like to be able to play BF3 on Full Ultra in 1080p Resolution with the FPS never dropping below 60.

Advice would be much appreciated.

Crossfire isent always the best solution, multi-gpu have a lot of drivers issues, best bet would be to get a 7950 or a 7970 or a GtX 680(Loving it) or a 670. If you have the money it would be a better solution then multi-gpu.

How does the 680 fair up in BF3 at 1080p res on full ultra?

7950 seems most reasonable when it comes to pricing, any insight into that cards performance?
