H61/67 board would be better for a budget.. No need to grab a Z68 board when you wont be using most of the features. But I agree a pentium dual core is the way to go. Faster CPU and the onboard graphics are good enough for HD movies so it should have no problems projecting a slideshow.

I know there are going to be many who might disagree with me, but I still find the LGA 775 platform very effective for small-budget builds.

Maybe used, but you usually will be spending about the same amount. It will work fine, but usually harder to find deals or get it cheaper so it will matter.. But a 775 will be enough, it is just harder to find much better deals.

So why don't I see any build logs with a M-ATX with a AMD APU processor? Mostly what I see here is Intel Pentium's (Outdated) and i3's, APU's is a go for this Church.

I would provide links, but I don't live in the US

Actually you can get new and still find great deals. Newegg, for example is still rocking with E6600's and still has a pretty good selection of 775 boards that support DDR3

Couple of examples:

Intel E6600 3.06GHz Dual Core - 79.99
Foxconn mATX board - 44.99

See, IMO that is not really a good deal for old generation hardware.Seeing as you could get this for the same, if not better performance
CPU: Intel Pentium G620 2.6GHz Dual-Core Processor ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Biostar H61MGC Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($54.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $124.97

Well when I say great deals - It's usually when im strolling through the local Microcenter and I find something I can't pass up. Other than that, it still performs the same and serves its purpose.

What exact dimensions is the space the computer needs to fit into? What two video connection types do the projectors need (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, VGA, and so on)?
