In the market for a new mouse - anyone tried this one?

In the market for a new mouse, my rat 7 is failing after only having it for a few months. I read alot about user problems with the tracking before I got it but decided to take the plunge anyway.

Sucks to be me tongue.gif Tracking on it's own etc etc and I gave the razer naga to the gf so I am without a mouse.

Has anyone had any experience with this mouse
http://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Diablo-III-Mouse-PC-Mac/dp/B0055NBYOI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336091891&sr=8-1

What is it's deal, is it just a dumbed down sensei pro?

Any recomendations for me? Please not the logitech g500(most commonly recommended mouse) as I really do not like the look of it.

Would love a nice middleweight mouse. Not cheap light feeling and not to heavy.

Are you a palm grip user or claw? The Diablo III mouse is actually a Xai with a Diablo III skin, not a Sensei. I've used the Xai before, tracking is good, it doesn't use the notorious Phillips Twin Eye in the R.A.T and Razer mice. I've also not noticed the acceleration that comes with the sensor and nor do I notice it with my current mouse, which has to same sensor. wink.gif

Awsome ty, eh I can use either. Have had to adjust to palming because of the size of the rat 7, but for the longer time I was a clawer because of how small the naga was. I don't mind either way tho I find I get a bit lazy and slower in games when palming tongue.gif

If the sensei/xai's have a little weight behind them and are nice claw grips that would be awsome.

Been looking at the razer mamba elite 4g, been wanting that for a while but everywhere I look people are having alot of problems with the drivers and battery life. £100 is alot for a disfunctional mouse tongue.gif

Mmmm I think the Xai and Sensei are more suited to palm grips, but that might be just because I have small hands. redface.gif

The 4G generation of Razer mice seem built on gimmicks. I don't believe that you will actually observe any real world improvements hahaha.

Try the Razer Imperator 2012, awesome mouse. I had the roccat kone+ but it developed the scroll wheel problem, rma'ed it twice only to have the same problem a few months down the line. thumb.gif

I looked at the imperator, it looks awsome but people are saying it's very light. I don't like the idea of a big mouse that is light.

Looking around I am thinking either the good old death adder or the g9x, never used logitech before tho. I just got the razer goliuthus large so I want a mouse that tracks well on cloth pads can anyone suggest one? How does the g9x feel.

Pick the mouse you feel you'll be happy with.

Only mouse with a major issue would be the imperator 2012. It has dynamic DPI scaling that won't "turn off".

If you want something that tracks well on cloth pads I think you need to stay away from laser sensors. Those generally play better with hard pads.

It's quite different from a Xai or even Sensei internally.
